Smackdown of Cram

I decided to shared Cram as my smackdown tool. This tool is simple but also a very effective with many different features. Cram is a tool that can help you create your very own set of flashcards. It allows you to create as many different sets of flashcards you need and also letting you have as many cards in a set as you many want. After creating the flashcards you can utilize them in different ways. You can study them using Cram mode or in Memorize mode. Either of these lets you study your flashcards in a normal fashion. Cram also has 2 different games within the app that will use your flashcard sets to help you study in a more fun way.

Cram was my top choice because of a duel purpose to me. First, as a college student this is a easy and wonderful tool to use while studying for test or exams and are of easy access at anytime. My second reason I chose Cram was because I am an education major so I can definitely use this tool in my future classroom on my students. This can be useful because I can make the flashcards and then share it with them, or they can make their own for their own studying purposes!

Here is my link to my presentation and I hope this provides more information for you, along with influence to download it and try it yourself!

  5. Jordyn,
I have never heard of Cram prior to your smackdown. It seems quite helpful and effective, especially with classes that require lots of memorization. I'm taking A&P now, which is basically all memorization, so I will have to download this app! Thanks for sharing!

  8. Hi Jordyn! Just like the past two I have never heard of cram. Though I do like the idea of this app! I am somebody that always does flashcards for studying and I could see this help me not waste paper. I could then make them fast as well because when writing I take my time to make sure it is readable. Where if I had this on my phone I could move quicker. Also I would have this saved to my phone and wouldn’t have to worry about losing any cards! I am definitely going to download this app!

  9. Cram is a little similar to Quizlet. This is very interesting to me since there are many apps out there that do almost the same thing, but may be the slightest bit different.

  10. I have used apps similar to cram, but it is great to hear of cram and its uses. Having virtual flashcards would be really useful in studying, so I would love to implement this into my college career. Writing out physical flash cards can be tasking and wasteful, so it is great to hear that i could use cram easily and always have access to them.

Cram reminds me a little bit of quizlet or other flashcard apps. I am still not sure if I should download this tool. I do use flashcards a lot when it comes to studying for exams, I will surely consider, but I do like quizlet right now and hopefully it gives me the same experience. But you should also take a look at quizlet too and see if you find it useful.

  13. Jordyn,
I have never used or seen this app before, so it was interesting to see this for the first time! I have always turned to Quizlet to create flashcards or even resorted to hand writing them, so this is definitely a good tool to know about in order to expand my options for when it comes to studying.

  15. Jordyn,
Although Cram seems similar with Quizlet I like how they have the different and fun ways to study. Like Quizlet, keeping your note cards organized is very important and I can see that this app does that as well.

  16. Jordyn,
Cram is a really great app and tool for students especially with classes that have a ton of memorization. I think as an education major you could continue using this into the professional world, but I'm not totally sure that I could as a Communications major. Maybe if i had a presentation and did not want to forget my points. Other than that it's still a great tool.
